BMW i3 and i8 Concepts – world premiere

The all-electric BMW i3 and i8 Concept

will have their world premieres at the Frankfurt Motor Show – along with other green models.

The BMW i3 Concept, known as the Megacity Vehicle during its development stage, will be presented as the first purely electrically-powered production car within the BMW Group.

The BMW i8 Concept is a sports car with a plug-in hybrid design combining an internal combustion engine and an electric drive, resulting in extremely low fuel consumption and emissions.

There will also be the world premiere of the new BMW 1 Series, with rear-wheel drive, unique in this class, and four-cylinder engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be the world premiere of the BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition, with an output of 184 hp, fuel consumption of 62.8 mpg and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.

Finally, there will be the world premiere of the BMW X1 sDrive20d EfficientDynamics Edition, also with fuel consumption of 62.8 mpg and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.
