Energy Efficient Motorsport Conference at Sebring 12 hour race

The MIA, supported by UKTI, is organising the inaugural conference on Energy Efficient Motorsport in the USA, March 15, prior to the running of the 55th Annual Mobil Twelve Hours of Sebring race.

The world’s first such ‘green’ focused motorsport event – The MIA’s Clean Racing Conference – was held in Birmingham in 2002. Since when Motorsport Valley UK has proved to be the global centre for energy efficient solutions and related R&D, with UK companies either totally responsible for or partially involved in the NASAMAX bio-fuel, Taurus Sport and Audi R10 diesel Le Mans projects, and even the famous Panoz/Zytek ‘Sparky’ gas-electric hybrid of 1998.

Senior executives of major US corporations will be amongst the invited audience and will hear from leading industry figures such as Herb Fishel and Peter Digby, amongst others. The event will be chaired by the MIA’s Chris Aylett.
