The new Lexus LF-Gh GT hybrid concept will make its global debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show.
The rear-wheel drive, four-seater, grand tourer saloon promises high-performance combined with efficiency.
The front-end design incorporates a new ‘spindle’-shaped grille that Lexus says will be inherited by future models.
The front of the car also has inlets through which air flows, and later exits through outlets at the rear. The concept also explores how features such as door mirrors and handles can be minimised to improve aerodynamics.
We just hope that people can remember the names of such model descriptions as the LF-Gh; terms such as ‘5-Series’ are slightly easier to commit to memory.
More details will be released at the New York Show.
