Hyundai i20 BlueAugust 16, 2011
The new Hyundai i20 Blue emits just 98 g/km CO
, along with economy of 76.4 mpg , making it the lowest emitting vehicle in Hyundai’s product line-up.
To achieve the sub-100g/km CO 2 figure, the i20 Blue has Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG), low rolling resistance tyres, rear suspension undercover and rear wheel deflector. This equates to 76.4 mpg from the 1.4 CRDi Euro V compliant four-cylinder engine – a 14% improvement on a combined cycle when compared to the i20 1.4 CRDi 90PS Style model. The car also has a range of 755 miles.
As it emits less than 100 g/km CO 2 , the i20 Blue gains exemption from VED and the London Congestion Charge
The i20 Blue comes with standard equipment including 15” alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, electric heated and folding door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, steering wheel audio controls, USB and aux connections air conditioning and remote central locking.
