The Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership has revealed the shortlist for the LowCVP Champions Awards.
The Awards celebrate outstanding and innovative practice in accelerating the shift to lower carbon vehicles and fuels and reducing road transport emissions.
The Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster on Tuesday, 29 January 2013. The Awards ceremony follows a reception (at the same venue) to celebrate the LowCVP’s tenth anniversary.

2. Low Carbon Heavy Duty Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year
3. Low Carbon Vehicle Operator of the Year
4. Low Carbon Fuel Initiative of the Year
5. 2012 Award for Low Carbon Innovation by an SME
6. Low Carbon Road Transport Initiative of the Year
7. 2012 Outstanding Low Carbon Publication or Report

The LowCVP Champions Awards were established in 2010. The 2012 Awards will be presented following a reception celebrating the LowCVP’s 10th Anniversary to be addressed by Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, Norman Baker MP . The Chair of the Committee on Climate Change, Rt Hon John Gummer, Lord Deben , will speak at the opening of the Awards. Former ‘Tomorrow’s World’ presenter and engineer, Kate Bellingham will be the Awards MC.
