The Skoda Octavia Hatch GreenLine has a combined economy figure of 88.3mpg and emissions of 85g/km CO2, making it one of the most efficient cars in its class.
This GreenLine model is powered by a 1.6-litre TDI CR 110PS diesel engine. For company car drivers, it has a BiK rating of 13% for 2014 – as well as VED Band A meaning no road tax.
The Octavia Hatch offers a huge amount of space for a car that can theoretically achieve 88.3mpg.
The GreenLine model features 16-inch alloy wheels and low rolling resistance tyres which are inflated to a higher pressure than normal tyres to reduce friction between the tyre and the road.
The new car also features Start-Stop, and energy normally lost during braking is recovered and used for battery recharging.
The Skoda Octavia GreenLine costs £20,150 and is on sale now.
