The Go Ultra Low Nottingham Electric Vehicle FestEVal will take place on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June and will feature not only Robert Llewellyn and Mark Goodier, but also the new Jaguar I-PACE.
There will also be a range of electric and other Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) on display from BMW, Kia, Nissan, DriveElectric, Chargemaster, Cenex and LEVC.
On Saturday 30 June the Go Ultra Low Electric Vehicle FestEVal will be hosting two celebrities in the Dining Room at the Council House on Old Market Square. Former Radio 1 DJ, broadcaster and businessman with a passion for electric vehicles, Mark Goodier will be sharing his EV Journey from 10 to 10.20am. Red Dwarf star, and host of Fully Charged, Robert Llewellyn, will be talking about his various EV Adventures from 1 to 2pm, however all tickets have now been sold for Robert’s talk.
There will be a range of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) including:
BMW: i3; 530e PHEV & Mini Countryman PHEV
Nissan: 40kWh Leaf, e-NV200
Kia: Soul EV, Optima PHEV, Niro PHEV
DriveElectric will be displaying the Hyundai IONIQ, and the brand new Jaguar I-PACE will be on show. As if that’s not enough, there will also be Renault’s Formula E all-electric racing car.
On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June there will be many drop-in talks inside the Dome on Old Market Square, ranging from question and answer sessions with ULEV champions to finding out about how you can lease an EV from DriveElectric or how to use solar panels to charge your car.
On Saturday 30 June, local company Gizmo’s Lab will be running an activity for kids to build a little electric car or rubber powered aero car. This will take place from 12.15-1pm.
