The new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid (actually a plug-in hybrid) has an electric range of up to 31 miles (WLTP cycle), CO2 emissions of 39g/km and fuel economy of 166 mpg.
It also has 320Nm torque and 225hp (180hp from the petrol engine and 80kW from the electric motor) and is available from £35,340. Drive modes include Electric, Hybrid, Sport and Save. There’s an ë-EAT8 electrified automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive.
Using a 7KW wallbox, the battery recharges in less than two hours thanks to the standard 7.4KW on board charger. Charging can also be done via a domestic plug socket in 6 hours.
The new C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid will be available in two versions, Flair and Flair Plus.
The Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid is the first step in Citroën’s electrification offensive. The year 2020 will see Citroën transition to an extended range, which will be enhanced by 100% electric and plug-in hybrid models. Starting with New C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, all new models launched will feature an electrified version.
The first deliveries of New C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid will take place in the middle of 2020.
