The Citroën ë-Dispatch is a 100% electric compact van which offers a driving range of 205 miles on the WLTP cycle with a 75 kWh battery or 143 miles with a 50 kWh battery.
The ë-Dispatch is available in three lengths, with payloads of up to 1,275 Kg, with the 50 kWh battery being available with XS and M body styles, and the 75 kWh battery is available with M and XL body styles.
Load volumes of between 4.6 m3 (XS) and 6.6 m3 (XL) are identical to the ICE versions thanks to the batteries being mounted in the chassis. There’s also a towing capability up to 1 tonne on all versions.
The electric motor delivers 100 kW (136hp) and 260 Nm torque. Maximum speed is 80 mph in all drive modes (Eco, Normal, Power). The warranty period for the powertrain and battery is 8 years or 100,000 miles.
The ë-Dispatch charges from 0 to 100% in less than 8 hours using a 7.4 kW wallbox, or 0 to 80% in 30 minutes for the 50 kWh battery and to 80% in 45 minutes for the 75 kWh battery.
The ë-Dispatch comes in three versions, the X version, the Enterprise version and the Driver version, designed for longer distances.
The ë-Dispatch will arrive in UK showrooms during the second half of 2020. It will be joined by a 100% electric version of the Relay at the end of the year and an electric Berlingo Van next year.
From 2021, the entire Citroën LCV range will include electrified models alongside efficient internal combustion engines.
