Hyundai has unveiled the first teaser image of the IONIQ 5, the first model in its IONIQ dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV) brand, with an all-new design style, including 20-inch aero-optimised wheels.
The IONIQ 5 will be the first vehicle mated with Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), made exclusively for next-generation battery electric vehicles.
The car’s Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology functions as a general power supply (110/220V).
The IONIQ 5’s ultra-fast charging capability enables it to drive more than 62 miles with only a 5-minute charge (WLTP Standard).
The IONIQ 5 will debut on a virtual world premiere event in February 2021.
