The CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID is a plug-in hybrid that promises up to 188.3mpg and CO2 emissions from 33g/km, and the e-HYBRID DSG-auto 245PS in VZ1 trim can soon be ordered in the UK from £38,625, or £40,260 for VZ2 trim.
The CUPRA Formentor has an electric-only range of 32 miles (VZ2) and 34 miles (VZ1) and the battery can be charged from 0-100% in just 3 hours 33 minutes, using a 3.6kW AC charger.
The CUPRA Formentor can accelerate from 0-62mph in 7.0 seconds, with a top speed of 130mph. Powering the plug-in hybrid is a 150PS (110kW), 250Nm 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine and a 116PS (85kW) electric motor with a 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Combined, these deliver 245PS (180kW) of power and peak torque of 400Nm.
