New Skoda Epiq entry-level BEV

A design study has been revealed of the Škoda Epiq, the brand’s entry-level battery-electric sub-compact SUV crossover. In even better news, it’s due to be priced from around 25,000 euros, or less than £21,500, and the final production model will be unveiled in 2025.

Although it’s designed to be a city-friendly car, at 4.1 metres in length, Škoda says that the Epiq will feature a spacious interior for five people and up to 490 litres of luggage capacity. It’s also due to deliver an electric range of over 248 miles.

The Škoda Epiq also supports bidirectional charging, transforming the car into an energy storage unit that can feed excess electric energy into the customer’s home and other appliances.

The Škoda Elroq, a battery-electric compact SUV, will be the first vehicle to be launched as part of the brand’s upcoming electric model campaign, as one of six new electric vehicles scheduled for launch in the coming years, with its debut scheduled for later this year.
