MG Cyberster: 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds

The MG Cyberster electric roadster is now available to order from £54,995 for the rear-wheel drive Trophy model, or £59,995 for GT trim with all-wheel drive. The first UK deliveries are planned for August this year.

The Cyberster features scissor doors and a fully-electric fabric hood which can be opened or closed in as little as 15 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph. A specially-designed wind deflector positioned between the front seats aims to reduce buffeting to a minimum.

The Cyberster Trophy has a power output of 340PS with 475 Nm of torque, delivering a 0-62 mph time of 5.0 seconds.

The dual-motor, all-wheel-drive Cyberster GT will be the most powerful production model in MG’s 100-year history with 503PS and 725Nm of torque, with a 0-62 mph time of just 3.2 seconds.

Both the Trophy and GT are equipped with four drive modes – Comfort, Custom, Sport and Track – along with paddles to adjust the three levels of brake regeneration.

A 77kWh battery delivers a range of 316 miles for the Trophy and 276 miles for the GT.

The Cyberster is equipped with Brembo brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels on the Trophy, and the GT has 20-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres.

Rapid DC charging up to 150 kW enables a charge of 10% to 80% to be delivered in only 38 minutes.

The Cyberster has a 249-litre boot and five exterior colour choices including Inca Yellow.
