
The new seven-seat PEUGEOT E-5008 SUV will be priced from £48,550 and will have up to 310 miles of range at launch, with up to 410 miles when a long-range model is launched at a later date.
Designed from the outset as an electric model using the Stellantis STLA-M platform with 400-volt electric architecture, the new E-5008 is available from launch with a 73kWh battery and single electric motor driving the front wheels, which produces 210hp and 254lb ft of torque.
Platform components, such as the cabin heating and cooling systems, steering, braking assist and propulsion, are designed to minimise energy consumption. Combined with extensive use of lightweight and rigid materials, the E-5008 delivers better than average energy efficiency of 4.2 miles per kWh.
The new E-5008 supports up to 160kW DC ultra-rapid charging, allowing it to recharge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. An 11kW three-phase onboard charger is provided as standard.
Available later in 2024, a long-range version with a 98kWh battery and an electric motor producing 230hp will be capable of delivering and expected 410 miles of range.
The E-5008’s interior features PEUGEOT’s 21-inch Panoramic i-Cockpit with a single curved panoramic ‘head-up display’ screen, a configurable virtual i-Toggle display which can be used to set up to ten shortcuts, and a new compact steering wheel.
All 5008 models feature seven seats, with easy access to the last row thanks to a sliding and tilting second row with reclining backrests. The second-row seats slide and tilt in a 60/40 configuration, but they also feature a 40/20/40 folding backrest.
The new E-5008 is available in two trim levels: ALLURE, priced at £48,550, and GT, priced at £52,350, both offering seven seats.
The new E-5008 launches with the PEUGEOT Allure Care warranty that guarantees peace of mind by covering the electric motor, charger, powertrain, and main electrical and mechanical components for up to 8 years or 100,000 miles. The battery is also guaranteed for 8 years or 100,000 miles for 70% of its charging capacity.
