The Audi A6 e-tron has gained new entry-level and quattro models. The new entry-level A6 e-tron is priced from £62,500, and features a single rear-mounted motor and smaller 83kWh battery (75.8 kWh net), delivering a maximum of 326PS and giving the A6 Sportback e-tron and A6 Avant e-tron a range of up to 382 miles and 361 miles respectively.
A new twin-motor A6 e-tron quattro is priced from £75,000, with a larger 100kWh battery pack and maximum power of 462PS. Deliveries of both new models are due by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
The Audi A6 e-tron is currently available with a driving range of 463 miles.
Featuring the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the A6 e-tron entry-level model has a maximum charging capacity of 225 kW thanks to its 800-volt electrical system, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 21 minutes. Using an AC charging station or home charger delivering up to 11 kW, they can be charged from 0% to 100% in eight hours.
In the new A6 Sportback e-tron quattro and A6 Avant e-tron quattro, the rear-mounted motor is combined with an additional unit on the front axle, giving all-wheel drive. The upgrade boosts total power to 462PS (with launch control), with a larger 100kWh battery.
The A6 Sportback e-tron quattro has a range of up to 438 miles, with the A6 Avant e-tron quattro having a range of up to 415 miles.
In both body styles, 0-62mph takes just 4.7 seconds, or 4.5 seconds with the help of launch control. Top speed is 130mph.
With a higher 270 kW charging capacity, but also a larger 100 kWh battery delivering a greater range, the A6 e-tron quattro can restore enough power to cover up to 192 miles in just 10 minutes, and can also power up from 10-80% of full capacity in 21 minutes.
The latest variants slot into the range on either side of the 380PS A6 e-tron performance, and below the flagship 550PS S6 e-tron, both of which spearheaded the model line’s UK launch in September. Like the A6 e-tron performance models all the new arrivals are available with a choice of Sport, S line or Edition 1 specification options.
