The Škoda Elroq vRS electric compact SUV has 340 PS of power, all-wheel drive, and a 0 to 62 mph time of 5.4 seconds, making it the brand’s joint fastest accelerating production model to date with the Enyaq vRS.
An 84 kWh (79 kWh net) battery delivers an electric WLTP range of 339 miles, with ultra-rapid charging of 185 kW, giving a 10% to 80% charge in around 26 minutes.
The Elroq vRS features a sports chassis and alloy wheels up to 21 inches in size. The 470-litre boot can increase in size to 1,580 litres with the rear seats folded and the EV has a 1,200 kg towing weight.
The Elroq vRS has DCC adaptive suspension with specific tuning and stiffer antiroll bars as standard, and a new progressive steering set-up. Driving Mode Select also offers a special traction mode in conjunction with all-wheel drive. Up to 15 shock absorber settings can be configured in Individual mode.
Each DCC shock absorber has a sophisticated electromagnetic valve that opens and closes in milliseconds, reducing or increasing the oil flow in the shock absorber depending on the current driving situation and selected driving mode.
With Powerpass public charging tariffs, customers will be able to charge their battery at one of nearly 900,000 charging points across the EU (excluding Portugal and Romania).
The Škoda Elroq vRS is priced from £46,560, with order books open from 12 June and first deliveries expected in the summer.
