New Electric Nissan MICRA open for orders

The new electric Nissan MICRA is open for orders in the UK, with two battery options, 40kWh offering up to 198 miles of range, and 52kWh with up to 260 miles of range.

Both variants support DC rapid charging up to 100kW, with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capability for powering small devices, and the MICRA is ready for V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) integration coming soon. All models feature a heat pump.

The all-new MICRA is based on the AmpR small-car platform with a length of 3,974 mm, short overhangs, a compact footprint (yet a boot space of 326 litres), a low centre of gravity and a light weight of between 1,377 kg-1,452 kg.

Power output is either 90kW (40kWh battery) or 110kW (52 kWh battery) with a 0-62 mph time of 9.0 seconds (40 kWh) and 8.0 seconds (52 kWh).

The Micra is open to order in the UK with prices starting from £21,495 (including £1,500 government grant). Deliveries are expected to begin in January 2026.

There are four Nissan MICRA models:

MICRA Engage 40kWh: £22,995 or £21,495 with grant

MICRA Advance 40kWh £24,995 or £23,495 with grant

MICRA Advance 52kWh £26,995 or £25,495 with grant

MICRA Evolve 52kWh £29,865 or £28,365 with grant

The all-new MICRA is the first step in Nissan’s product offensive in Europe, where the company will introduce four new fully electric models by 2027. These include the all-new MICRA, the already-announced all-new LEAF, the upcoming all-new JUKE, and an A-Segment model.
