Citroën ë-C5 Aircross Long Range qualifies for full £3,750 Electric Car Grant

The Citroën ë-C5 Aircross Long Range is the first vehicle of its type to be awarded the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant (ECG) by the UK Government.

Long range variants of Citroën’s flagship mid-size SUV offer up to 421-miles on a single charge (WLTP Combined). The  ë-C5 Aircross is available in YOU!, PLUS and MAX trims from £32,935 once the ECG is applied.

The Electric Car Grant is awarded to models that meet strict technical and environmental criteria. The ë-C5 Aircross features a 97kWh battery and a 230 hp electric motor. The battery cells for the Long Range versions are produced in Europe, at the Stellantis ACC Joint Venture Plant in France, helping to lower the environmental footprint of the vehicle thanks to reduced emissions in the production process.

All versions of the ë-C5 Aircross have progressive hydraulic cushions in the suspension for a smooth ride and the interior features Citroën Advanced Comfort seats.

YOU! variants come with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with High Beam Assist, 13-inch touchscreen with 3D navigation, wireless smartphone charger and adaptive cruise control. Long Range YOU! variants are available from £32,935 MRRP after the ECG is applied.

PLUS variants gain ambient lighting, dark-tinted windows, proximity keyless entry, front parking sensors and 180-degree reversing camera. Long Range PLUS variants are available from £35,575 MRRP after the ECG.

Range topping MAX variants add extended head-up display, heated front seats and steering wheel, hands-free electric tailgate, and Drive Assist Pack 2.0 with semi-autonomous features. MAX versions also gain a standard heat pump for improved winter efficiency and start at £38,215 MRRP with the ECG.

Ë-C5 Aircross is also available as a Comfort Range model, with a  73kWh battery and 210hp electric motor offering a range of up to 322 miles (WLTP Combined).
