The all-new Mazda CX-6e mid-size SUV features a 78kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery with a WLTP range of up to 300 miles and an ultra-rapid DC charging rate of 195kW giving a 10%-80% charge time of just 24 minutes. The electric motor delivers 258PS1 and 290Nm of torque to the rear wheels, resulting in a 0-62mph acceleration time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 115mph.
The Mazda CX-6e’s cockpit features a 26-inch touchscreen with a customisable dual-split layout that provides passengers with access to a wide range of information, without distracting the driver from the road. This screen is complemented by a large head-up display that overlays navigation guidance onto the road ahead.
Multilingual voice recognition responds naturally to requests such as adjusting the temperature, opening the windows, or finding the next destination.
The CX-6e has a 468-litre boot which expands to 1,434 litres with the second row of seats folded flat. Trim levels include Takumi and Takumi Plus.
The CX-6e, which Mazda says has been “developed through global collaboration”, will arrive in the UK late 2026, following a European launch, joining the Mazda6e which goes on sale in UK this summer.
