Nissan MICRA 52kWh now qualifies for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant

The longer-range Nissan MICRA 52kWh now qualifies for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant after switching to a Europe-sourced battery, with prices from £23,245 after the grant.

The MICRA 52kWh is built at Nissan’s ElectriCity production hub in northern France. Both existing and future orders for the MICRA 52kWh are eligible for the full discount, with first UK customer deliveries scheduled for April. Nissan has also taken the opportunity to revise PCP deals on the car, with lower monthly payments now available the Engage 40kWh starts at £293 per month and the Advance 52kWh at £333, both on 48 months with £1,500 deposit and 6,000 miles a year.

The 40kWh MICRA delivers up to 196 miles WLTP and the 52kWh up to 257 miles WLTP. Both feature Google Built-in and the NissanConnect Services app.

This is the second Nissan EV to attract the full grant, the new LEAF, which will be built at Sunderland, is the other.
