The Audi A2 is back, this time in the form of the all-electric A2 e-tron, due to be unveiled towards the end of 2026.
The previous-generation Audi A2, on sale between 2000 and 2005, was ahead of its time, offering a stylish Audi design in an efficient, compact package. The new Audi A2 e-tron follows in the original’s footsteps, being an all-electric entry-level model, with a similar silhouette.
The A2 e-tron aims to tap into the market for compact electric vehicles, which continues to grow, especially in large European cities.
The A2 e-tron is another fully electric product line to be built at Audi’s German home in Ingolstadt.
Audi has launched more than 20 new models in 2024 and 2025, with the Audi A2 e-tron and the Audi Q9 coming soon.
