Geely has added an Ultra variant to the EX5 range, with a bigger 68.39kWh battery for up to 280 miles of WLTP range, 750kg of braked towing capacity and a new Rainforest Green paint option. Prices start at £38,990 OTR and cars arrive in dealerships from 5 May 2026.
The Ultra sits above the existing SE, Pro and Max trims as the EX5 flagship. It’s the first version of the EX5 to offer towing a 750kg braked capacity supported by Trailer Stability Assist. Performance is 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds with 320Nm of torque.
Specification includes everything in the Max plus a 13.8-inch head-up display, 16-speaker FlyMe sound system, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and front-seat ventilation and massage. The base EX5 SE remains from £31,990 OTR and includes a 15.4-inch infotainment screen, 10.2-inch instrument cluster, surround-view camera, wireless smartphone integration and a comprehensive ADAS suite.
Both the battery and the vehicle are covered by an 8-year warranty. Geely is continuing its launch offer of a dual-branded Andersen 7kW home wallbox with professional installation for £499, a saving of £1,000 on the market price.
The EX5 was the launch model for Geely Auto UK, which entered the UK market in October 2025 and plans 10 models over three years targeting annual sales of 100,000 units.
