Renault Scenic E-Tech now qualifies for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant

The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric is now eligible for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant, with prices from £33,245 OTR after the grant making it the third Renault model to attract the maximum saving alongside the Renault 4 and Renault 5.

Full grant eligibility follows confirmation that Renault’s battery supplier LG uses 100% renewable energy at its plant in Poland, where the battery cells and modules for the Scenic are produced. The cells are then installed in the Scenic at Renault’s Douai factory in northern France, part of the firm’s ElectriCity production hub.

The Scenic uses a 220hp electric motor and an 87kWh battery for up to 381 miles WLTP. Three trim levels are offered: techno, techno esprit alpine and iconic esprit alpine.

Pricing (including £3,750 ECG):

Scenic E-Tech techno £33,245

Scenic E-Tech techno esprit Alpine £36,245

Scenic E-Tech iconic esprit Alpine £38,245

The grant is available on all new orders from today.

Renault has the most extensive grant-eligible EV line-up in the UK. The Megane and the smaller 40kWh Renault 5 qualify for the £1,500 grant, and the Renault 4, larger-battery Renault 5 and now the Scenic all attract the full £3,750 grant. Renault’s UK EV registrations grew 87% year-on-year in Q1 2026, with one in three new Renault sales now being electric the group’s biggest UK growth story since the Zoe.
