A new electric car is here, the MyCar. It certainly looks more funky than the G-Wiz, however the performance isnt as impressive as the looks suggest, with a range of between just 40 and 60 miles from its lead acid battery, and a maximum speed of only 40mph.

The G-Wiz is now available with lithium-ion batteries, giving an extended range of up to 75 miles. The developments in range, and battery charge times, are impressive but at £15,795 this a lot of money to pay for a car that desperately needs an improved design.
