The Complete Guide to Fully Charged LIVE 2023

If you want to see the latest electric vehicles and home energy solutions then Fully Charged LIVE is the event to attend. Taking place at Farnborough International on 28th, 29th & 30th April 2023, and the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate on 19th, 20th & 21st May 2023, Fully Charged LIVE, sponsored by ElectriX, is a festival of electrification.

As well as around 300 exhibitors, including more than 20 of the biggest car brands such as Tesla, Polestar, MG, Genesis, Hyundai and Kia, with a total of 200 EVs, there will be the largest EV test drive programme ever held in the world, and around 15 – yes 15!! – new electric vehicles that will be seen for the first-ever time in the UK at Fully Charged LIVE South.

BYD will be unveiling the ‘affordable’ Dolphin EV, one of its latest models, in a European-first. The BYD Atto 3 EV will also be part of the Fully Charged LIVE test drive programme.

GWM ORA will be hosting the first ever UK debut of its next model, a fully electric premium saloon.

The Fisker Ocean SUV will be showcased on the new Electric Launchpad.

The Lotus Eletre SUV is likely to be one of the biggest crowd-pullers!

The new Polestar 3 electric performance SUV will be seen for the first time in the UK.

In addition to the electric vehicle exhibitors and ‘Watt Drive?’ test drives of 30 makes and models of EVs, visitors to both shows will also be able to access EV-related attractions including the Electric Launchpadand Electric Alley. Additionally, as the Fully Charged SHOW on YouTube covers electric vehicles of all shapes and sizes, home energy and clean energy, there will be an array of additional features including the Home Energy Advice Team, Zero Carbon Kitchen, Commercial Vehicle Zone, Two-Wheel Test Track, and Fully Charged BUSINESS, with DriveElectric as the Business Partner.

Enjoy family-friendly games, activities and entertainment in the Kids Zone and have fun with electric scooters, skateboards & bikes on the M1CRO MACH1NES test track.

Madness Events presents Volt Tour, the world’s first fully electric vehicle action show, with riders soaring higher than ever before by using the power of electricity. Watch as they flip and trick around the custom-made course in a friendly competition to see who is the best Volt athlete.

Additional features at Fully Charged LIVE UK include the Home Energy Advice Team, sponsored by OVO Energy, where you can speak with industry experts, and the new Eclectic and Electric area, sponsored by Fellten, where you can see how classic cars have been converted to electric.

At the heart of the events are more than 50 ‘live sessions’ where the presenters of the Fully Charged SHOW on YouTube host entertaining on-stage sessions with energy and transport experts hosted by Fully Charged presenters Robert Llewellyn, Jack Scarlett, Helen Czerski, Imogen Pierce and Dan Caesar.

Green Car Guide’s Editor Paul Clarke will be on the MEGA Stage with Jack Scarlett at 12.45pm – 1.15pm on Sunday 30th April talking about his favourite EVs.

Deborah Meaden will open the event with the first Electric Fireside chat on Friday 28th April at 10.15am, with BOSH! chefs Henry and Ian joining Robert on the Sunday to share their journey to becoming the world’s most famous plant-based chefs.

ElectriX is running a competition at Fully Charged LIVE South for a 12-month lease of an MG4 plus a home charger and £600 towards your insurance. Visit ElectriX at the show to enter and see the MG4 in the metal. The MG4 will also be available to test drive, visit the MG stand to book your slot.

DriveElectric, the Business Partner for Fully Charged LIVE 2023, will be launching a new service to support business fleets to reach Net Zero faster.
