Audi’s electric range has expanded well beyond the original e-tron SUV which was renamed the Q8 e-tron and is now discontinued. The Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron sit at the heart of the line-up as the most affordable Audi EVs, while the Q6 e-tron, launched in 2024 on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) shared with Porsche, sets a new technical benchmark for the brand with 800V architecture. Above it, the A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron bring the electric powertrain to Audi’s executive saloon and Avant lines. Audi also offers plug-in hybrid TFSI e versions of the A3, Q3, Q5, A6, Q7 and Q8. The A3 e-tron and original e-tron mentioned in older Audi coverage are no longer on sale.
