Citroen

Citroen’s electric strategy is built around accessibility. The ë-C3, launched in 2024 at a sub-£22,000 starting price, was the first affordable European-built EV at that price point and has reset what the bottom end of the EV market looks like. It’s joined by the ë-C3 Aircross small SUV, the ë-C4 and ë-C4 X hatchbacks, and the larger ë-C5 Aircross. The Ami quadricycle – popular in mainland Europe – is sold in limited numbers in the UK. Citroen is part of the Stellantis group and shares platforms with Peugeot, Vauxhall, Fiat, DS and Jeep, but the brand’s positioning is consistently focused on comfort, design quirk and value rather than performance or premium pricing.
