Deliveries of the new Polestar 5, a performance-focused four-door Grand Tourer (GT) with a lightweight bonded aluminium platform, will start in summer 2026.
This will be followed towards the end of the year by a new variant of the Polestar 4 – the brand’s current best-seller – which is due to combine the space of an estate and the versatility of an SUV.
The brand’s range also currently includes the Polestar 3, a crossover SUV, which is due to be updated in 2026 with 800V architecture featuring faster charging up to 350kW and a new chassis set up including a power hike up to 670 bhp.
Over 190,000 examples of the Polestar 2 have been sold, and a completely new successor to the Polestar 2 will be here in 2027.
The Polestar 7 compact premium SUV will be launched in 2028, sitting in the largest EV segment in Europe, which accounted for around one-third of total BEV volumes in 2025, and it’s due to be built in Europe.
The Polestar 6 Roadster was originally due to be launched in 2026 but has been delayed in order to prioritise the new 2, 4, 5 and 7.
