
Skoda has updated the Elroq and Enyaq for the 2026 model year with a host of new features, including a frunk, Vehicle-to-Load, one-pedal driving, a new Android-based infotainment system and the new Travel Assist 3.0 driver-assistance suite. UK rollout is scheduled for the end of June.
The Elroq and Enyaq were Europe’s second and seventh best-selling EVs in 2025 respectively. In the UK, the Enyaq was the fifth best-selling BEV in 2025 with 11,941 deliveries, and the Elroq seventh with 10,713 deliveries. The Elroq also won the 2026 German Car of the Year award and finished second in European Car of the Year 2026.
The most visible interior change is a new modernised Android-based infotainment system with a redesigned home screen, grid layout, favourites and search, plus a new in-car app store offering Spotify, YouTube and various third-party apps. A digital key arrives for the first time on a Skoda, allowing the car to be locked, unlocked and started from a smartphone or smartwatch. Skoda’s own Powerpass charging service is now integrated into navigation, with access to one million charging points across 28 European countries.
Functional additions include a 21-litre frunk with gas struts under the bonnet, Vehicle-to-Load capability via the charging port or a 230V boot socket, and enhanced one-pedal driving with two recuperation levels in B mode. Qi2 Magnetic Power wireless charging is now supported at up to 25W.
Travel Assist 3.0 brings new corner radars and an interior eye-tracking camera, with refined Assisted Lane Change and an updated Emergency Assist that can move the car to the hard shoulder if the driver fails to respond. A new capability stops the vehicle at traffic lights and STOP signs.
These updates apply only to newly produced vehicles since the upgraded onboard platform is exclusive to the latest production run.
